@steger
A watching eye, a red recording dot, and two words for the automated license plate readers quietly going up on residential streets across the country. They log where you drove, when, and how often — no warrant, no suspicion, no say from you. Communities from Cambridge to South Pasadena to Stanford have voted them out. Dozens more contracts have been canceled. This one's for everyone showing up to a city council meeting to ask who's holding the data and who else gets to see it. Bold, high-contrast, and readable across a parking lot. Wear it to the meeting.
