About this Design

The design shows an abstract, surreal scene combining nature and whimsical elements. A central flower grows from a patch of soil surrounded by playful items like a bird, bread, lightning bolts, a hand, and other objects. Surrounding it are symbols such as floral motifs and hearts. The phrase 'complicated soil' highlights the intricate and eclectic characteristics of the design.

Steger

@steger

This is an art response to a sermon I heard about the parable of the sower from Matthew 13. The phrase 'complicated soil' born out of that message was of great comfort as I wrestled and continue to wrestle with thoughts of faith, God, doubt, and spirituality.
