Hand-drawn ink illustration of a Eurasian harvest mouse. I made this drawing using fine ink pens on Bristol board, using one of my own photographs as reference. I drew the mouse in ink first, then coloured it with alcohol markers and finally added highlights and whiskers using a white gel pen. I've been lucky to photograph harvest mice up close several times, they are so cute and tiny! Harvest mice are tiny rodents which can be found across Europe and Asia. They have red brown fur with white underparts. Their tiny pink nose and big black eyes as seen in my drawing are what makes them look extra adorable!
