About this Design

This design is dominated by a stylized gravestone inscribed with 'Poe 1849 1875', surrounded by swirling floral motifs. Atop the grave stands a raven, while three figures in dark Victorian attire stand beside it. Below, in a tunnel-like structure, a character sleeps among roses and vines. The overall tone is dark, with elements of gothic and Victorian influences.

@grayehound

Edgar Allen Poe, trapped in his grave, tries desperately to ring the bell attached to the top of his grave marker. That the bell is seen as a plaything by a nearby raven is unfortunate. That no one realizes the bell is being rung by something other than Poe is sad. The whole situation, though, is ironic.
