About this Design

The image features a black, stylized cat sleeping contentedly in a rugged, hand-drawn square. Above the cat is a skeletal fish, enhancing the surreal vibe. The text 'CAT RELEGION' is at the top and 'against the grain' is at the bottom, suggesting a playful parody. The design has a monochromatic, woodcut or linocut style, imitating classic printmaking techniques.

Behind this design

DiditRed

@diditred

"Cat Relegion" is an ode to those who dare to stand apart and refuse to be dictated by conventional norms. With a blend of dark art and punk-rock aesthetics, this illustration captures the very essence of going "against the grain." The feline subject represents absolute independence—a figure who is calm, focused, and utterly unbothered by the standards of others. Perfect for the rebellious soul, the lover of monochromatic art, or anyone who believes that life is best lived by your own set of rules.
