About this Design

The image features white skeletal hands with elongated, neon green nails. The hands are adorned with red, blue, and orange mushrooms growing from them, and green vines intertwine around the hands. Dripping paint in shades of red, orange, and green falls from parts of the hands, creating a surreal, slightly eerie look on a black background.

This design was inspired by a type of fungus know as Dead Man's Fingers. Dead man’s fingers (Xylaria polymorpha) Swollen, blackened ‘fingers’ reaching for the sky. Aptly named, dead man’s fingers spookily look as if someone buried beneath the woodland floor is trying to make a last-ditch attempt to escape. Huzzah!
