I grew up in India and was first drawn towards Black History through the music and Art. Over the years, I've learned about the struggles and resistance of African American people. I wanted to celebrate Black History Month by creating an artwork that is aesthetically beautiful and also captures some key elements from Black Culture and History. A portion of sales from this artwork go to Black Visions Collective and The Bail Project to support their efforts against Racial Injustice.
