CNY 2026: Dumplings Rug

“Chinese New Year Collection; A grounding moment in snacks and serenity This collection is a quiet celebration of abundance, tradition, and shared ritual. Inspired by Chinese New Year foods and treats, each artwork centers on dishes that symbolize prosperity, care, and continuity; dumplings folded with intention, kuih shaped by patience, sweets made to be shared and inner souls floating in a lily pond of time… Rather than focusing on spectacle, these pieces honor the intimate moments of the season: the table set before guests arrive, the familiar flavors that return year after year, the comfort of rituals passed down and lovingly repeated. Each dish is presented simply and reverently, allowing its form and meaning to take center stage. With a balance of nostalgic warmth and modern clarity, this collection is designed to feel calming and grounding. It reflects a softer idea of prosperity; not excess, but fullness; not noise, but quiet joy. These works are meant to bring a sense of warmth, harmony, and gentle celebration into everyday spaces. A great piece for your kitchen or your living room, take home with you a pretty kuih to enjoy the nostalgic warmth of the new year, all year round.”
