Behind this design

chekovskie

@chekovskie

authentic tribute to the raw, unyielding spirit of urban streetball culture. This minimalist yet striking graphic fuses two defining pillars of East Coast identity: the timeless tradition of classic blackletter typography and the legendary heritage of New York basketball. Featuring a heavily distressed, vintage-textured half-moon backboard set against an iconic color contrast, this artwork captures the nostalgia of 90s playground hoops where legends were made and respect was earned.
