About this Design

The image depicts an anime-style character in a white shirt holding a cigarette and a lighter. She stands against a maroon background illustrating a supermarket with Japanese text that reads '24-hour operations' and 'super'. A speech bubble in English says 'Behind the Supermarket, Smoking with Me', conveying a rebellious or ironic tone.

Behind this design

@chekovskie

There is a specific kind of magic found behind a 24-hour supermarket at midnight. It’s where the weight of the day gets left behind, traded for a shared moment of silence, a slow exhale, and authentic connection. Our "Behind the Supermarket" design brings that exact lo-fi, slice-of-life vulnerability to life. Channelling a heavy dose of late-80s and early-90s vintage manga nostalgia, this artwork is all about the beauty of slowing down and finding your sanctuary amid the urban rush. Perfect for everyone who holds a soft spot for classic anime aesthetics and late-night thoughts.
