The arara-azul (hyacinth macaw) is a magnificent bird native to the forests of central and eastern South America. Its imposing size and vibrant colors provide a spectacle of beauty that harmonizes with the native vegetation. In this illustration, I propose an aesthetic inspired by cordel, a form of popular literature that features woodcut illustrations, immortalized in Brazilian culture by masters like J. Borges and Ciro Fernandes.
